Where the Tour Begins
Ghosts of River Street is designed to begin at the historic Pirates’ House, one of Savannah’s oldest and most storied landmarks. This self-guided experience lets you uncover centuries of haunted history and local legend at your own pace as you follow the winding streets and riverfront paths once walked by sailors, smugglers, and restless spirits.
We recommend parking nearby in one of the public garages or metered spaces before starting your walk. If you plan to drive during any portion of the tour, please use a hands-free mobile setup and exercise caution, as Savannah’s riverfront can be busy and narrow—especially after sunset.
