Where the Tour Begins
The Whispers of the Old City Self-Guided Ghost Tour is designed to move at your own pace, guiding you through centuries of St. Augustine’s most haunting stories and enduring legends. The recommended starting point for your journey is the Old City Gates, the iconic entryway that has welcomed travelers since the 1700s and stands as one of the most atmospheric places in the entire historic district.
We suggest parking in one of the nearby public lots or metered spaces before beginning your walk. If you plan to drive during any part of the tour, please use a hands-free mobile setup and take great care, since St. Augustine’s ancient streets can be narrow, uneven, and active with pedestrians after dark.
