Where the Tour Begins
The Shadows of Savannah Self-Guided Ghost Tour is designed to be enjoyed at your own pace, taking you through centuries of haunted history and chilling local legends. The recommended starting point for your journey is Johnson Square, the oldest and most storied square in Savannah, where the city’s ghostly past first took root.
We suggest parking nearby in one of the public garages or metered spaces before beginning your walk. If you choose to drive during any portion of the tour, please use a hands-free mobile setup and exercise extreme caution, as many of Savannah’s streets are narrow and lively with foot traffic—especially after dark.
