Known as the “Square of Sorrows,” it has witnessed centuries of public trials, executions, and intrigue—making it the perfect starting point for a journey into the city’s true crime past. This self-guided experience leads you through Savannah’s shadowed streets and hidden corners, uncovering stories of scandal, betrayal, and justice gone awry at your own pace.
We recommend parking nearby in one of the public garages or metered spaces before beginning your walk. If you choose to drive during any part of the tour, please use a hands-free mobile setup and exercise caution, as downtown streets can be narrow and lively—especially after dark.
